Many say he is the best 4th generation male vocalist and generally one of the best vocalists in K-Pop today, and we might have to agree with these statements as the idol has shown an exceptional vocal talent that has left many stunned by his range and tone. Powerful might not be enough to describe his vocals, and with a technique that is beyond his years, he keeps impressing fans with his ever-improving talents. Hitting notes we can not even begin to imagine, his vocals are powerful enough to fill a theatre, clear enough to convey the message of the script, and emotional enough to captivate the attention of the audience.
2. ONEUS’ SeoHo
ONEUS is known for its theatrical performances that leave fans and viewers spellbound and stunned all throughout. At the vocal helm of the group is SeoHo, an idol whose vocal cords might have been factory-made by the choirmaster of the angelic host as listening to him sing feels like heavenly bliss. His tone, his expressions, and his talents are all perfectly suited for a musical, and asides from his outstanding voice, we believe in any role he acts, he will be able to perfectly portray the character and connect to his audience.
3. ONEWE’s YongHoon
A gifted vocalist whose vocal talents deserve more recognition. ONEWE’s YongHoon is another idol who we believe will do very well in a musical. His vocal range is unbelievable, and his voice control and stability are equally outstanding. His technique might be considered flawless, especially when you consider the ease at which he switches voices. 4. DRIPPIN’s Lee Hyeop
He is a vocalist and one of the best we’ve seen so far. Emotional, powerful, and absolutely incredible, the vocal force always gives his 100% when he is singing and you have no other choice but to be laser gazed focused on him at that moment. DRIPPIN’s Lee Hyeop has no problem wowing fans on stage as we have seen him do from his “Produce X 101” days. And with DRIPPIN, this amazing quality has been even more developed and refined to a standard that makes him easily seize the attention of many. A vocalist and a powerful stage performer, it might be time for him to take on the theatre stage as he has shown the skills that would make him an excellent stage actor.
5. ENHYPEN’s HeeSeung
HeeSeung’s vocal tone is uniquely different but what makes it even more special is the way he utilizes his voice to connect with his listeners. Sometimes mellow and smooth, other times raw, raspy, and loud, he has clearly mastered his vocal technique to a point where it is well balanced and he is able to switch his tones so smoothly in a song or performance. Another key point of his talent is how stable his live vocals are, especially when you factor in ENHYPEN’s intense choreography. His breath control and stability are quite impressive and it is a key feature that will be very useful if or when he stars in a musical.
6. SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi
Every aspect of his being proves that SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi was born for the stage. A vibrant performer whose detailed to perfection stage performances have made him one of the best performers in K-Pop today, his talent is not simply something one learns but is born with. However, this in-born talent is not what has propelled him to this level of superiority but the clear amount of hard work and passion he has put into his craft has sharpened his skills over the years. A hard worker, Hoshi displaying his talents in a musical will definitely be a thrill to watch.
7. CIX’s SeungHun
CIX SeungHun’s vocal range and power are beyond impressive and his stage performances are outstanding. A versatile artist, with CIX, his vocals fit brilliantly into any kind of concept. With a vibrato that sends chills down our spines and high notes that leaves us breathless, with every performance, SeungHun holds the attention of the audience as they are either stunned by his vocals, eagerly waiting to see what he does next, or both. He would be a perfect casting for any musical, as not only would he be able to enchant the audience with his voice, but he would also be able to portray the emotions of his character too.
