While all their songs deserve to be on repeat, here are some that are so good, that we had to add them to our favorites tab.
1. ‘Do It Like This’
Both versions of this song are certified bops and it is no surprise it was the title track of this album “DISHARMONY: FIND OUT”. The chorus is the key point of this song, utilizing the various vocal colors and intonations of the members, each chorus part sounded a bit different from the others, and the switch in tones made this part of the song very interesting and refreshing. Another element of this song that made it so good is the rap verses, they knew it didn’t have to be overbearingly energetic but just the right amount filled with flair and swagger that made the listeners enjoy the verses and even rap along with ease.
2. ‘That’$ Money’
This sounds like a song that choreographers would release dance tutorials with on YouTube. The hip-hop track is different from one we’ve heard in a while, it’s refreshing how in the verses you can barely hear the instrumentals, but just their vocals. Then it gets to the chorus and the thumping bass comes in with a force that literally wakes you up. The harmonies in the chorus added another layer of appeal to the song. All through, it is a song with elements with an amazing arrangement.
3. ‘SIREN’
This truly is the one we are turning on as this song is a certified bop! There are so many elements of this song that makes it a repeat on our playlist but let’s start with the vocals. Incredible. That might not be enough to describe it but there simply aren’t enough words that would do it justice. The harmonies, the runs, the high notes, pure perfection. The vocal instruments of the members are so different from the everyday K-Pop groups. It is so unique and in the nearest future, its texture and the special feeling derived from their vocals would make it very easy to know a P1Harmony song even when it randomly comes on. The rap! Where do we begin? The rap team of P1Harmony is top tier and their style is one many might need to take a cue from. It is not just filled with so much swagger and energy but the intonations are clear and on point. It is even more enjoyable to listen to when each member presents a different style of rap that makes their songs fresh. All around this song is a 10 and a half.
4. ‘If You Call Me’
The vocals on this song sound early 90’s R&B influenced. Something you’d probably hear from acts like Boyz To Men. Perhaps this is one of the strong suits of P1Harmony, their ability to tap into any style or genre and bring forth a level of music that is close to perfect. Mixing the old with the new, their musical concepts will always leave a memorable note and strike a chord with their listeners. Frankly, they keep us on our toes as we have seen with all their albums so far, no one song is alike.
5. ‘Butterfly’
This has to be one of our favorites and we are sure it is a favorite for many fans too. The slow tempo of the song and their soft vocal textures fit perfectly. One of the special traits that P1Harmony possess and perhaps it is unique to them, is their vocal layering, especially with songs like these that are heavy on the vocals. The vocal layering is absolutely amazing and gives the listener a blissful experience. Well-timed with the different tones of the members, this part of their songs is often the climatic experience we all anticipate when listening to their songs.
6. ‘AYAYA’
The opening already gives you goosebumps the accapella-like hum sounds like a background sound of a scene from a scary movie and that feeling follows through as when the beat drops, you realize, this song is scarily good. The trap-infused melodies were definitely the edge the song needed, the harmonies of the vocal team were simply beautiful, the in-sync riffs and runs were perfect and when it comes to rap, P1Harmony’s rap team has proven to be excellent, so it is no surprise they keep thrilling us with their sound.
